ZONIN1821 HAS LAUNCHED ITS LATEST PROJECT, THE "WINE HOUSE & HOTEL 1821", IN EDINBURGH, WITH A "WINE LIBRARY" DEDICATED TO THE GROUP’S CRU WINES IN A HIGH-END GUEST HOUSE. NEXT UP BRAZIL AND IN 2018, EUROPE

Zonin1821, the biggest Italian wine production company and one of the most important worldwide, boasting production value in 2016 reaching 193 million Euros (86% of which are abroad), more than 2.000 hectares of vines and nine estates in Italy, including the Castle of Albola, the Abbey of Monte Oliveto and Rocca di Montemassi in Tuscany, Feudo Principi di Butera in Sicily, Masseria Altemura in Apulia and the "dépendance" Barboursville in the US, has just launched its latest project, "Wine House & Hotel 1821" (www.winehousehotel1821.co.uk), a blend of high level hospitality and spreading wine culture in Edinburgh.
Zonin1821 collaborated with the restaurateur Sep Martini, ambassador of the Italian culture of good eating and good drinking in the highlands country, and the "wine library" project, which is the place of honor in the guesthouse designed by architect Claudio Silvestrin. Guests will taste the Venetian company’s cru wines in an ambience decorated with red marble and wines of the company in a Venetian red marble environment and elegant wood furnishings.
There are "wine libraries" in London and in Europe in Vienna, which now join the international hotel chain.
Zonin1821 is planning to open the next wine library in Brazil, in the most fashionable street in the affluent and populous city of Sao Paulo, and starting in 2018, in other European countries as well.
“We are excited to have created, together with our friend Sep Marini, this new hotel concept in the lively city of Edinburgh”, said Michele Zonin, vice president of Zonin1821, “and share our passion for wine with the Scottish people and the visitors to this beautiful city. We want our guests to be part of our family, offering them the opportunity to immerse themselves in our passion”.
